How can I convert from POP3 to IMAP?

Just use your account with the IMAP protocol set up in your email client application. The conversion happens automatically. You won't be able to invert this operation though.

Also don't forget to create at least a Trash, Sent and Drafts folder on the server from within your mailer program. You can create more folders if you like.
